About Jane Fardon

With a grandmother who was a fashion artist and drew for 'Vogue' in the 1930s, and a great aunt who was a textile designer, you could say that colour and fashion run in my blood!

I have always found colour fascinating - the effect the right colours can create on a person, changing how they look and feel.

I love helping women celebrate the way that they have been created so that their natural beauty can shine through. I can’t believe I have been in the industry for over twenty years - I still get a thrill each time a woman grasps how fantastic she can look!  That’s why I love working with make-up; the results are so immediate and have such a big impact on our self-esteem.  I was never particularly at ease with myself as a child and teenager, so learning to love the skin I’m in has been a journey for me.

At Art College and then University I studied Education and Art. After working in London for a while, I went on to train with a leading image consultancy qualifying in colour and style analysis and of course as a make-up artist. I have worked as an Image Consultant, with both private and corporate clients, ever since. I am one of the few professionals who hold the Masters award from the ‘Federation of Image Professionals International’, an externally verified award.
